Perfect? No.

Perfect? No.

But who's to say what's proper?

Simplicity

Just randomly thought of how life could be so simple in the past. I could just listen to a song and feel like the whole world was perfect. I don’t feel that now, not anymore.

I still sinfully indulge myself in music, but I guess it’s a different thing altogether now. Everything just seem complicated, confusing & just NOT simple.. Not anymore.

This must be part of growing up - inevitable.

The question is.. To continue? Or to put a halt to it?

I really dislike this feeling. πŸ˜”

“What I’ve enjoyed most, though, is meeting people who have a real interest in food and sharing ideas with them. Good food is a global thing and I find that there is always something new and amazing to learn - I love it!” - Jamie Oliver: the man who’s about to open his own new Italian restaurant in Singapore.

How true is that. The F & B world is amazing. Food & beverage, it’s something essential in life. Without it, you cannot survive. True that? I’m fortunate, very fortunate to be able to savor all these in SG.

My palette will never be the same again.

Thank you. :)

What I usually do on weekends the past few months now - Bury my head into books, books and more books. I’ve always loved reading since I was a kid, having my own mini library at home and all. Heh 😊 πŸ“–

I’m pretty bummed to get my ass outta the house (read: bed) on weekends actually.. The weekend crowd irks me no end. But more than that, I reckon it’s cos of my job - having to be out and on the road almost every single day.. It’s actually tiring eh. Staying at home is a *bliss* to me now.

Catching up on The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom currently. He’s my favourite author of all time! Super inspiring.

Happy Sunday, y’all. X

10 October 2012 - Marks a year with my current company. It’s amazing how time flies. A year felt longer than I thought it did when I was with Pinnacle, unlike where I am now. I truly love this job and I’m REALLY glad I found courage & made this step a year ago to step out & explore opportunities.

I don’t exactly get paid VERY well, to be honest.. But as I’ve previously mentioned, money is not a driving factor for me. Well it plays a part of cos.. But really, what I want is to feel like I’m not working a single day of my life - my exact situation. I actually LOOK FORWARD going to work every waking morning. *beams*

I can’t here for long, not if I’m gonna start a family (which is erm, pretty soon but I’ll leave that to another post lol), but at least I know for once in my life, I experienced the adage from Confucius, “Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Happy anniversary to Culina & I! 😘

Pre-mature excitement (by JoshuaTrottier)

winter > summer

November’s been a whirlwind of drama. Let this be over & done with and with open arms, welcome back, December; my fav month of the year. No white x’mas, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be rocking fun nonetheless. 
